Speaker biography: Stan Shmia
Product Technology Manager, De Nora
Stan Shmia is the Product Technology Manager for De Nora Water Technologies Filtration and Disinfection business unit. Stan is responsible for De Nora’s media filtration, inorganics removal, chlorine feed, ozone and chlorine dioxide generation equipment. De Nora's equipment is used for wastewater and potable water applications in municipal and industrial markets. Stan is a member of the Water Environment Federation and the Chlorine Institute. Stan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
